The Interest Group “Europe for all ages” is the result of AGE’s campaign for an Intergroup to address ageing, longevity, healthy ageing, rights and social inclusion of older persons and solidarity between generations. It provides a forum for all democratic and pro-European parties to discuss these issues and come forward with calls and initiatives.
The interest group gathers some 30 Members of the European Parliament and is open to new interested MEPs.

The interest group is not affiliated to the Intergroup on Demography, but it is the heir of the various Intergroups and Interest Groups on older persons, on active ageing and solidarity between generations which have existed since 1982.
