In January, AGE launched the AGE Manifesto in the European Parliament, calling on future Members of the European Parliament to promote age equality, foster participation & active ageing, and ensure autonomy and well being. Before the elections, we will publish three Manifesto explainers, aiming to provide future EU officials with detailed recommendations for changes.

Today, we are delighted to share the first of the three AGE Manifesto explainers, which dives in more detail into our call for age equality and examines what age equality means, why it is important and what we need to achieve it. These recommendations are essential for the European Union to adequately address population ageing and work towards a society for all ages.

We continue to welcome endorsements of the Manifesto on this blog and quotes of support to sustain our campaign on social media.
